Yes. Money Cares is 100% free and every feature is unlocked from the moment you install it. There is no subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchase, and no credit card is required to use it.

Money Cares earns nothing from you, and that is deliberate. There are no ads, no data selling, and no paid version. The only support option is a voluntary donation: open Settings and scroll down to Buy Me a Coffee, which opens Ko-fi in your browser. Donating is never required and unlocks nothing, because every feature is already free for everyone.

No. Money Cares contains no advertising of any kind and includes no ad networks, which is part of why the app carries no third-party trackers. You will never see a banner, a popup, or a video ad while recording your expenses.

Money Cares is available for iOS and can be downloaded free from the App Store. An Android version is not available yet, so for now Money Cares runs on Apple devices only.

No. There is no sign-up, no email address, and no login. You download Money Cares, add your wallets, and start recording transactions right away. Because everything stays on your own device, there is no account to register and nothing to verify.

Yes. Money Cares works fully offline and does not require an internet connection to record expenses, manage budgets, or view your statistics.

Yes. All of your financial data is stored locally on your device. Because the app works offline, your data is never uploaded to any server.

No. Money Cares does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to any server, does not track how you use the app, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking services. There is nothing on our side to sell, and we never will.

No. Money Cares never links to a bank and never asks for banking credentials. You record transactions yourself, which is exactly what lets the app stay fully offline. You can still create wallets that represent your bank accounts and credit cards.

Yes. You can protect the app with a password or your device's biometric lock, so your balances and transactions stay private even if someone else picks up your phone. Backup files can be password-protected separately.

Money Cares lets you export a backup file that you save or share yourself, for example to iCloud or Google Drive, and restore it whenever you need it, including on a new device. You can set a password on the backup file. The app never uploads your data automatically.

Yes. You can export your data in JSON format at any time, so your records are always yours to keep. You can also delete all of your data from the app settings, and uninstalling Money Cares removes every local record from your device.

Yes. Money Cares supports several wallets at once, such as cash, bank accounts, and credit cards, each with its own starting balance. Record a transaction against any wallet and the app keeps the running balance for each one separately.

Yes. You can set a budget per category and Money Cares alerts you when you are about to exceed the limit. Together with the weekly, monthly, and yearly statistics, it makes it easy to see which categories are driving your spending up.

Yes. You can create financial goals, such as an emergency fund, a trip, or a deposit on a home, and track your progress toward each one inside the app. Seeing how close you are makes it much easier to keep saving.

Money Cares is available in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese.

Many expense trackers require an account, sync your data to their servers, and charge a subscription to unlock the useful features. Money Cares does none of that: it is completely free, works fully offline, keeps every record on your own device, and runs in 8 languages.
